Meet the Teachers
CT Movement serves individuals on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Through weekly conscious movement classes, workshops, and community events, we create transformative experiences in Greater Hartford, CT and serving New England.
Our welcoming, non-judgmental spaces invite you to reconnect with your inherent wholeness and remember more of who you truly are. On our dance floor, you'll explore, express, and evolve—touching the depths of your being in a strong and supportive environment. Participants leave our sessions feeling renewed, clear, connected, and more authentically themselves.
Lisa Galinski and Katherine Allen, internationally certified Azul Conscious Movement teachers, are heart-centered guides who offer movement sessions in settings ranging from women's circles to corporate leadership teams, helping you to embody more of who you truly are. Our mission is to foster a sense of personal freedom and clarity that extends beyond the dance floor into your life.
Lisa Galinski
I provide transformative experiences for individuals and teams, focusing on dedicated, motivated and caring professionals who are very capable but feel restricted in certain areas of their lives.
By integrating embodied movement, leadership coaching, nature-based healing, and spiritual development, I aim to foster self-discovery, balance, and well-being.
Based in Connecticut, I offer in-person and virtual sessions locally and globally. My approach empowers clients on the dance floor, in 1:1 work, nature walks, workshops, and retreats. I have a reiki practice in Simsbury, CT.
Ultimately, my goal is to serve the evolution of humanity by helping people connect with their souls and embody the qualities of power and clarity so that they can unleash their most generous, compassionate, and loving selves, bringing harmony and balance to humans’ relationship with the living Earth.
I created Soul Nature in Motion from the roots of 14 years of conscious movement practice (Azul, 5Rhythms, Movement Medicine), facilitating The Work That Reconnects (trained by Joanna Macy), soulful sensuality for women, Co-Active Leadership and Coaching, and energy work (Reiki and my own modality 'Natural Healing' grounded in nature, hands-on healing and coaching) -- all rooted in my deep respect and love for the living Earth and all of our relations.

Katherine Allen
I am a Certified Azul Conscious Movement facilitator, supporting you to get in touch with your truest self.
I have been on a journey of self-discovery for decades, traveling across India and Nepal on countless pilgrimages, to finally realize that Conscious Movement is the direct path to awakening love and remembering our inherent body wisdom that I have been seeking.
I aspire to lead in love, honoring our innate capacity for healing and transformation. Personal choice, expression and intuition is centered in our practice of deep listening through our body in motion.
I started leading women’s circles in 2015 and producing conscious dance gatherings and expressive arts workshops in 2018.
I am thrilled to collaborate to co-create empowering experiences through dance, ritual, and community building.
About the Azul Embodiment Map
Azul Conscious Movement is an embodiment practice and a path of personal transformation through movement.
Azul is rooted in a map that supports each of us to awaken consciousness by working with the intelligence of the body and the heart through embodying the spiral map.
Embodiment through movement is so potent because it helps us purify and integrate all of our life experiences by releasing blocks and stuck energy that hold us back from experiencing (and knowing) our true essence. Love is our true essence: living in the flow of life, fully expressing our gifts and talents, experiencing the richness that life has to offer us.
Through our movement practice, we recognize that as we transform ourselves we create the conditions for our world to transform.
Visit www.PathofAzul.com to learn more about Azul Conscious Movement.
CT Conscious Movement classes are based on components of the Azul embodiment map, guided by the teacher and set to a soundscape of curated world music so that you have support and inspiration for your journey into your body.
You are invited to follow the truth of your body on any given day, and move in ways that feel good to your body and honor yourself. You are always at choice in a CT Conscious Movement class to do what works best for you.
No prior dancing experience is needed.
